Below is a list of frequently asked questions:

- I followed the directions and pasted the code for the background I want into my html/javascript gadget, but it's not showing up.
- Will I lose any information or widgets on my blog by putting on one of your backgrounds?
- Why is a button from an old backgrounds website showing up in the top left hand corner along with yours?

Why does my old blogger template show up on top of my new HBB background?
You need to change your template to 'minima' to reset your old template's html.
Follow these steps to do so:
- Sign in to your blog.
- Click on Design.
- Click on Edit HTML and scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Under where it says Old Templates click Select Layout Template and choose a Minima template.
- Then click the orange Save Template button.
Can I use your backgrounds with Wordpress/Typepad?
To be able to change your background with Wordpress you need to buy the Custom CSS Upgrade. I have not purchased this upgrade myself, but I hear that my backgrounds work fine once you have this!
For Typepad, I'm not sure. I don't have a Typepad account, sadly. If anyone finds out that they do work in Typepad then contact me and let me know! :)
Why can't I see the entire background when I put it on my blog?
The thing about background images is that they are a fixed/centered image. If your screen resolution is too small you will only see the center portion of the image. This is so that people with large screen resolutions will still be able to see the image to the edge of their screens as well, and not have white strips on each side. If you feel that the image is large and zoomed in, try seeing if your screen resolution is set to the highest it can possibly go.
I followed the directions and pasted the code for the background I want into my html/javascript gadget, but it's not showing up.
First of all, make SURE you copied the ENTIRE code from underneath your desired background. A good way to make sure you highlighted everything is to click inside the box and hit ctrl+a. THEN once it's highlighted either right click and go to copy or hit ctrl+c. Then make sure that you are making a new html/javascript gadget if you have never changed your background before and if you are replacing an old background that you ERASE all the old code from the old background and before pasting in the new.
Will I lose any information or widgets on my blog by putting on one of your backgrounds?
Of course not. If you follow the instructions you should DEFINITELY not lose any information, settings, or widgets. If for some reason you feel that is happening please contact us so we can try to figure out where you went wrong with your installation.
Why is a button from an old backgrounds website showing up in the top left hand corner along with yours?
If this is happening it means that you still have the code from an old background either in your main html or in an html/javascript gadget. First, Make sure you don't have more than one gadget with background code inside, and if you do erase the old gadget. If you don't have another gadget with code for an old background make sure that you switched your template to minima - as it says to do on our instructions page. If you haven't done that, do it now and it will fix the problem.
